Student’s t probability plot (Q-Q plot).
Produces a Q-Q plot comparing sample quantiles against theoretical quantiles from a t-distribution.
- Parameters:
y (array_like) – Sample values (e.g., t-statistics).
df (float, default np.inf) – Degrees of freedom for the t-distribution. Use np.inf for a normal distribution.
plot_it (bool, default True) – If True, produce the Q-Q plot. Requires matplotlib.
**kwargs – Additional arguments passed to matplotlib’s plot function.

- xndarray
Theoretical quantiles.
- yndarray
Sample quantiles (sorted input values).
